Ask me what I do and the honest answer is “nothing and everything”. I write copy, I build websites and web apps, and I plan the marketing around them. For twenty years that has been three jobs. With AI it is one.
I started at News UK at 15 and became The Sun’s youngest staff member at 19. Thirteen years in a newsroom taught me to write fast, ship faster, and build the tools when the tools did not exist. I launched their video department and wrote for the paper.
Since 2019 I have worked for myself: copy for websites, landing pages and Meta Ads across travel, property, marketing agencies and the adult industry, and the sites to put it on. Two lead gen agencies I co-founded now run on a SaaS I built, and send tradesmen in the US and UK millions of dollars of work a year.
I am not a successful entrepreneur. I have lost more money than I have made and failed at more businesses than I would like to admit. What I can do is build fast and build well, and these days I architect while Claude writes the code. You will likely find me in a café, somewhere in Asia, doing exactly that.
